Future Goals
• Expand vision screening for children l year through 5 years in Knox Co., at no cost to their parents, in partnership with the Tennessee Lions Eye Center at Vanderbilt University, and to all c
hildren in Tennessee through the KidsSight Outreach Program.
• Continue to provide free vision testing and eye glasses for those in need.
• Support diabetes programs in Knox Co., since diabetes is a leading cause of blindness and vision impairment.
• Sponsor a Lions Leo Club at a local high school to provide leadership training and teach citizenship skills to youth.
• Promote programs to work with youth in our community to develop high standards of personal and community responsibility.
• Establish an educational fund to assist deserving, disabled students. The West Knox Lions Club
