Troops of St. George - Troop 311

Troops of St. George - Troop 311 We are here to learn about the Lord's creation and to be good stewards of the world that has been left in our charge.

We do this by teaching young boys about the world around us and learn alongside them on this journey.

May 2021 Outing to Christ Prince of Peace Retreat Center:
Troop 311 spent the weekend camping at the Christ Prince of Peace (CPOP) Retreat Center. The boys enjoyed learning new skills such as knot tying, knife and saw safety, first aid (not related to the knife safety course), a little dayhike around the Retreat Center's trail with the Stations of the Cross.
The Troop also participated in mass with the Deaconite Candidates during their weekend retreat.
The Troop will look forward to return to CPOP in the future.

July 2021 Outing: The Cove at Concord
Troop 311 held its' monthly outing on Fort Loudoun Lake. We spent the morning canoeing one the lake and proclaiming a new island in the name of our Lord! It was named Egg Island! Fun and hilarity was had by all. Nobody sank and everyone made it back to port!
