We’re #1 in the nation! 🏆💙

Johnson University has been ranked #1 Best College Dorms in America by Niche, earning an A+ rating and placing in the 99.99th percentile nationally among 1,351 colleges!

We’re grateful for the faculty and staff who work each day to make Johnson a place where students can learn, grow, build community, and truly feel at home.

There’s a lot to love about life at Johnson, and apparently our dorms are at the top of the list! 🙌

Sunday Reflection | August 30, 2026

POV: It’s the second week of school, and what college students do you know who are actually excited for their alarm clocks to go off tomorrow morning? 😂⏰

We have a few reasons to believe ours just might be! 🧪💻📚

Our students are officially settling into the new Graham Family Center for the Sciences, with new labs, new classrooms, and new opportunities for research, discovery, and growth.

We believe this is only the beginning of what God will do in and through this space.

As we head into another week, we’re grateful for His faithfulness and excited for all that’s ahead.

Yesterday was truly a special day at Johnson University! 💙

We officially celebrated the grand opening and dedication of the Graham Family Center for the Sciences, and the day was more than we could have hoped and prayed for.

From our students, faculty, and staff to community leaders, local officials and representatives, donors, friends of Johnson, and so many others who joined us, it was incredible to see our community come together to celebrate this new chapter.

The dedication ceremony and open house gave our guests an opportunity to experience this beautiful new space, connect with our students and faculty, and see firsthand what this building will mean for generations of Johnson students.

We are incredibly grateful to the Graham family, the contractors and teams who brought the vision for this space to life, and everyone whose generosity, vision, prayers, hard work, and countless hours helped make this possible.

Yesterday was about much more than opening the doors to a new building. It was about celebrating what God has done and looking ahead with excitement to all that will happen within these walls.

What an awesome day for Johnson University!

Sunday Reflection | August 23, 2026

This week, Johnson University feels a little different.

The residence halls are full. Backpacks are packed. Classrooms are ready. Faculty and staff are preparing. A new semester is here, and our campus is once again filled with the energy and anticipation that comes with a new beginning.

For some students, this marks the beginning of their college journey. For others, it’s another step toward a degree they’ve worked and prayed for. There will be excitement, nerves, new friendships, challenging assignments, moments of growth, and probably a few early mornings. 😊

But our prayer is that this semester will be about more than what happens in a classroom.

May our students grow in knowledge and wisdom. May they discover more about who God has created them to be and how He can use their gifts to serve others. May our faculty and staff lead with grace, excellence, and purpose. And may our entire Johnson community remember that God is present in every part of the journey.

As we begin this new week and new semester, we do so with gratitude and anticipation for all that God has in store for the Johnson community.

Here’s to a new beginning, Royals. 💙

The students aren’t the only ones excited about a new semester at Johnson University. So are we! Staff, faculty, administrators, and yes, the president! 😂💙💛

Genesis Weekend is in FULL effect, and we’ve got boots on the ground all weekend. So naturally, the props had to be cowboy hats. 🤠😅

And it’s GO TIME! 🙌🏽

There’s something special about the energy that comes with the start of a new academic year. New students. New opportunities. New relationships. And another opportunity to serve our students well and help them discover where faith shapes purpose.

Excited to see what God has in store for Johnson University this semester! 🙌🏽
