TVGRR Friends, Family and Followers,
We don’t often do this however, we feel we need your help. Over the last few weeks, we have taken a big financial hit due to dogs coming in needing immediate medical attention.
Henry who is about 5 – 8 yrs old and a stray was limping, and he required TPLO (knee) surgery. He is doing well in his foster home, but his vet bills exceeded $6500.
Madison is 9 years old and a retired breed dog. She came into our program with many mammary gland tumors and upon doing a heart-worm test, we learned she was HW positive. She has already had one surgery to remove the left side mammary gland
chain and was spayed at the same time. Fortunately, the tumors are benign. She is currently facing a right-side mammary gland removal and upon completion of her recovery, she will need to undergo heart-worm treatment. Thus far, her medical bills have exceeded $2000. Her future medical bills are estimated to be another
$2000. Madison is in a wonderful foster home where it is understood her medical needs are a priority.
Sweetie is a 6 ½ yr old girl who came to us from a less than desirable situation. Sweetie is blind but her eyes were never attended to, so, an ophthalmologist appointment is on the horizon for the end of October to determine if she should have surgery. If so, then it will be between $600 - $1000 per eye. But she does need surgery for a baseball size lump on her right back leg and for one in her chest. Sweetie is in a foster home adjusting to her new surroundings always with a smile and a wagging tail. Vet costs? We don’t know but we know it will be significant.
Donations in any amount would be greatly appreciated. Every penny will go to the care of these three and to others that we rescue. Without you, we can’t continue what we do. If you wish to donate you can use this link: https://tvgrr.com/donate-now/
