International Conference of Police Chaplains

10/16/2026

This week, ICPC Wisconsin is bringing chaplains together for an outstanding DTS with 16 registered participants and a stellar team of instructors: Mark Clements, Archer Leupp, Frank O'Loughlin, and George Papachristou.

It's always exciting to see chaplains investing in their calling, sharpening their skills, and growing in their ability to serve their agencies and communities with excellence. Every training represents another step toward stronger, more effective LE chaplain ministry.

Interested in hosting a training in your region? The ICPC Office is ready to help! From planning and registration to logistics and support, we're here to partner with you every step of the way.

A huge thank you to everyone making the Wisconsin DTS a success.

The loss of a colleague can affect personnel in many ways, including changes in sleep, concentration, mood, and daily functioning.

Recognizing these responses early and encouraging support can make a meaningful difference for individuals and teams following a line-of-duty death or other traumatic incident.

Every line-of-duty death impacts more than a single department. It affects colleagues, families, peers, and entire communities.

Preparation before a critical incident occurs can help organizations respond with greater coordination, support, and care. Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) provides resources and strategies to help agencies prepare for and recover from traumatic events.

Our October Chaplain Enrichment Training has been postponed to October 29.

We are currently working to resolve an issue with the registration link. We want to make sure all ICPC members have the opportunity to register and participate, so we have moved the training from October 1 to October 29.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work with our technology representatives to get this resolved. 🙏

Once registration is available, we will share the link through email, the ICPC app, and social media.

We look forward to having you join us on October 29!

We love seeing our chaplains actively promoting the mission of ICPC, building meaningful connections, and sharing the value of chaplaincy with first responders from across the region. Events like these create opportunities to strengthen relationships, encourage one another, and expand the reach of our ministry.
