Remember everyone, next week is POETRY WEEK in Knoxville. Kicks off Tuesday at the Knoxville Poetry Slam, June 11th is the 33rd annual Southern Fried Poetry Slam in Knoxville. See the image below if you would like to volunteer.

Spots are available for hospitality, merch, time keepers and more!

You'll also get to see some of the best poets in the world! If you can't volunteer but would like to see the event, tickets are still available.

Hello everyone, our next event is happening in June! We are skipping May due to a scheduling conflict with a University event.

In other news, our event has been the same price since 1994, and after months of discussion, we have come to terms with the fact that if we want the event to continue, we have to raise the prices slightly, to keep up with inflation.

We would have loved to keep it the same price, but at our current levels of expenditures, it was a losing endeavor for us every month. We were able to suffer the losses for a while, but we made the difficult decision to raise our prices.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us for all these years, we promise to keep the pirate ship going!
