There comes a time when you ask “How can I give something back to this community that would enrich life in Knoxville for future generations?” This is the purpose of the Knoxville Community Foundation! KCF is a nonprofit organization established to enhance the com

munity by raising funds to be invested for the future of Knoxville. The organization raises its funds from gifts and bequests and then exercises prudent judgement when investing in projects that better our community. Donating is easy, feels great, and helps to make a lasting impact on the community.

Press Release – Thursday, April 9, 2026

The Knoxville Community Foundation’s 100 for 100 Campaign for 2026 has begun! If you would like to make a donation to this campaign, there are several ways to do so.

3)Mail a donation to Knoxville Community Foundation, PO Box 226, Knoxville, Iowa 50138.

All donations go back into our community through our annual project granting campaign and scholarships for Knoxville High School seniors.

The Knoxville Community Foundation’s 2026 granting season is open! The foundation will be accepting applications for project support from now until July 1, 2026. Grant applications can be found online at www.knoxvilleheritage.org. Applicants should be a qualifying non-profit organization with a goal of improving the Knoxville community. (Brick and mortar projects are highly encouraged and will receive preference over other projects.)

• Grand Theater Renovation & Reopening
• Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Expansion and equipment purchases
• Stepping Stones Early Learning Center

Congratulations to Thrive Knoxville!

Members of the Knoxville Community Foundation met with members of Thrive Knoxville to present them with a $10,000 check for their Gateway Project. Be on the lookout on S. Lincoln Street/Highway 14 just south of Bell Ave. for a lot of really great changes to one of Knoxville's most traveled entrances/exits.
