Assalamu Alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,

‎إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
To Allah we belong and surely to Him we return.

It is with sorrow and sadness that we report that Sr. Khurshid Sheikh, mother of Rashida, Shahid, Sajid, Tariq, and late Khalid Sheikh, has passed away.

The family is requesting for everyone to make du'a, praying for Khurshid’s maghfira, forgiveness, and for her to enter Jannatul Firdous.

The burial will be *today, June 23rd at 5:00 at Lakeview Cemetery* in Lenoir City.

Visitation will be for men and women tomorrow, June 24th 5:30-9:00 at the Quran Center.

Please take a moment to read Surah al-Fatiha as well as Surah Yasin. May Allah accept, purify, and elevate the deceased with the righteous people in Paradise. Ameen.

Thank you to our wonderful community for joining us at our annual Eidul Adha potluck at the beautiful ! We enjoyed delicious food, beautiful weather, and lots of fun and play. Thank you to the generous and kind staff at the farm for hosting us again this year!

*EID UL ADHA UPDATE*
🚨*NEW LOCATION* 🚨
Eid ul Adha prayer is *Wednesday, May 27th* at the Chilhowee Park’s Jacob Building.
Takbeerat start at 8:30 am and Prayer at 9:00am
‼️Please read helpful guidelines below. Extra measures are in place this year to keep our community safe.

📍 Jacob Building: 3301 E Magnolia Ave, Knoxville, TN 37914
🚗🚨 Parking is available all around the building. Please make sure to arrive early.
✨ Please bring your prayer rugs to pray on CONCRETE. Some chairs will be provided for those in need.
✨ Children must stay with parents the entire time.
✨ There is NO SHUTTLE provided.
‼️ There will be police present and metal detectors at event. (No weapons allowed on premises.) This is for everyone’s safety and per the city of Knoxville policy.
‼️ Please follow the ushers’ instructions regarding parking outside and seating inside.

As we welcome the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah and prepare to celebrate Eid al-Adha, we extend our heartfelt wishes to you and your loved ones for a joyful and peaceful Eid.

Eid al-Adha is a time of faith, sacrifice, gratitude, and compassion — a reminder of the importance of obedience to Allah, caring for one another, and strengthening the bonds of our community. May this sacred occasion fill our hearts with peace, our homes with happiness, and our lives with countless blessings.

* Day of Arafah: Tuesday, May 26
* Eid al-Adha: Wednesday, May 27
