The ET TRN will develop and maintain a network of EMDR clinicians trained in the EMDR Early Intervention protocols and provide opportunities to educate local communities and their leaders on the efficacy of EMDR therapy employed as part of an early intervention response to trauma. Services will be made available to adults, children, and groups who have been impacted by the event. Volunteers will provide 6 to 10 pro bono sessions per individual client. The EMD, EMDr, Recent Traumatic Event Protocol, Group Traumatic Event Protocol, standard EMDR Protocol, and other early intervention protocols will be used to provide relief of acute symptoms of traumatic stress associated with the event.
