2026 PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
The Northern Tier Recreation Authority (NTRA) is a Pennsylvania municipal authority governed by an all-volunteer board of nine directors. In accordance with its bylaws and the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, all meetings of the Authority are open to the public.

The Authority oversees the operation of the Knoxville Community Center and works to promote and advance recreational opportunities within the Knoxville–Deerfield–Brookfield community.

The Northern Tier Recreation Authority would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Cowanesque Valley Rod and Gun Club for their very generous donation to our organization yesterday.

It is always a challenge to meet the needs of a building such as ours and your generosity will truly help us meet our goals.

Our goals will always be to keep this building open and ready to accept our area's youth. Over the years, we have had Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, baseball, softball, basketball, and volleyball using the building and they are the why for what we do. For me, the laughter echoes off of those walls as I recall Blue and Gold Banquets, lock ins, plays, pinewood derbies, and seeing kids being coached during the winter so they are ready for their upcoming season. Seeing our community choose this building to hold important family events, holiday gatherings, numerous meetings, and fundraising dinners to meet other needs is another reason for what we do.

So, again, thank you for helping us carry on with what we do. Your generosity is appreciated.

A big thank you to the C V Junior High Honor Society and Mrs. Pritchard for all the hard work helping us with the harvest dinner. You all did a fantastic job and helped make this event a big success. We are proud of you and your dedication to your academics. Keep up the great work.
