Helen Wilds is holding space for all@of us to come together with the goal of helping The Bottom succeed in their mission to:

* Sustain a Black-affirming bookshop
* Produce meaningful arts programming
* Create safe, joyful spaces for gathering
* Continue building a legacy rooted in community, culture and creativity

The Bottom is a nonprofit cultural organization serving the community through a Black-affirming bookshop and arts space. The Bottom strives to cultivate a sense of belonging, togetherness and safety for Black people in Knoxville and beyond.

Your generosity keeps this work alive. Every action, big or small, strengthens this organization!

This month’s creative highlight is Ceramics at The Bottom & the Ceramic Soul Collective 🏺

Our latest exhibition, Expanding Horizons, showcases works from new students in our ceramics program & members of the Ceramic Soul Collective, this exhibition marks the culmination of our fourth year of community-centered ceramics programming!

Expanding Horizons will be on view at The Bottom until August 31st 🗓️
