The countdown is on!

This weekend join us for our annual Holiday Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 6 from 9 - 11AM, or until sold out, at the Berne Fire Dept., 30 Canaday Hill Rd., Berne. There are spaces still available but reservations are recommended: call /text Sandra Quay (518-605-1351) or Joan Adriance (518-461-1320).

And Saturday evening join us behind the Knox Fire Dept. for an evening of holiday cheer with our Tree Lighting Ceremony. The Community Sing along begins at 5:30 pm featuring guest vocalists from the BKW Christmas Tree Choir.

HFCO is honored to bring the 7th Annual Hope and Peace Community Festival of Trees to the residents of the Hilltowns and surrounding communities. Individuals, families, businesses, groups and organizations are invited to sponsor and decorate a tree for our community display.

The 2025 Festival of Trees will be on display behind the Knox Fire Department from December 6, 2025 through January 10, 2026. Trees are available to decorate for a $60.00 donation. This donation covers the cost of a 7’ to 8.5’ premium tree, the stand, a signpost and related electrical needs such as lead cords and adapters. The participants provide lights and outdoor decorations.

Registration for the run is from 8:30 - 9:45am and the race is at 10AM. The BBQ and Block Party begin at 11am and end at 3pm.
