Scattered storm chance in our area returns overnight and Friday. You may not see rain but some will. Given high water content in the atmosphere, any storm in our area will be capable of high rainfall rates. We're in a level 2 of 4 flood outlook tomorrow to early Saturday

A Flood Watch is in effect for South Central Texas from 7 PM this evening through 7 PM Tuesday, June 16. Heavy rain and lightning are expected with isolated pockets of more than 8 inches of rain possible. This rain may fall quickly in torrential downpours. Life threatening flooding is possible somewhere within the Flood Watch area. Stay weather aware and remember: turn around, don't drown.
