Remember, you are not starting from a blank page, you are not starting from scratch, you are starting from experience. You have more knowledge and experience than you did 3 months ago, 6 months ago or even a year ago. Everything that happened in 2020 has prepared you for what is to come in 2021. You are more equipped than you realize.

I am certain that you will build something extraordinary this year.

We unintentionally believe what we want to believe. It’s called confirmation bias. This is when we have a tendency to interpret circumstances and situations in a way that subconsciously confirms what we already believe.

Your limiting beliefs fall under the confirmation bias as well. You think a thought, then look for evidence that supports these thoughts - whether they are true or not - and before you know it they become beliefs stored in your automatic subconscious.

These beliefs don’t go away until you face them head on, challenge them, and see them for what they really are: habitual thoughts that you have CHOSEN to think about and confirm.

Don’t fall victim to this confirmation bias. Challenge and release the beliefs that don’t serve you, so that you can make room for what does.

Blind Spots & Stumbling Blocks⁠

When you are on the journey of success there are two things to be aware of, identifying blind spots and stumbling blocks.

Stumbling blocks are aspects of yourself that you KNOW are in your way of growth.⁠

Blind spots are the aspects of yourself that you DON’T KNOW or see coming.

Gaining further awareness of these can initiate positive change in how you think, behave, and act.

Stumbling blocks raise the question of what to do, but blind spots raise the question of how do I see them. ⁠So, take your blind spots and stumbling blocks and turn them it into stepping stones. You got this. Keep going and keep growing!

Do NOT apologize for evolving past someone else’s comfort zone. Sometimes people will question your decision and even judge you for your decision. Don’t get frustrated if they don’t rally around you, cheer you on, or even understand what you are doing. Be you, push past your own limits, and continue to pursue your purpose.

Fake it until you make it or Believe it until you become it.

What if I fall or What If you fly?

Every one experiences challenges. Every one experiences opportunities for growth. Every one faces fears. The key is to recognize when these moments are happening--and to get out of your own way. You learn from experience, as you go. Give yourself permission to make mistakes. You must be willing to learn some valuable lessons. You must be willing to try as many times as it takes.

My goals challenge and scare me. But I am more scared of not trying. I am willing to take a huge leap or a tiny step in order to create a rewarding life. So, keep going and keep pursing. You are allowed to enjoy success, whatever you determine that to be.
