The American Legion hosts a monthly business meeting and typically provides breakfast for attendees. This time, they asked Toby to gather a crew to help cook, serve, and clean up.

Instead of charging for the meal as they usually do, they invited attendees to make donations toward Toby’s Eagle project. Generously, all proceeds from the breakfast—along with the cost of the supplies—were donated to support his project.

Eagles, Eagles everywhere—and we couldn’t be prouder! 🦅👏

Last Saturday, our Scouts came together to help complete an Eagle project—and what a team effort it was! They sanded down patchy areas, taped the borders, laid down floor protection, and got right to work edging and painting the walls.

Our Eagle candidate kept everyone fueled with plenty of drinks, donuts, and pizza for all the hardworking volunteers. 🍕👏

This is what the Scout community is all about—showing up, pitching in, and supporting one another every step of the way. Time and time again, our Scouts come together to turn service projects into shared accomplishments, helping each other reach their goals and making a lasting impact along the way.

Last weekend at Cherokee Scout Reservation, our troop held a special “Tap Out” ceremony, where 13 Scouts and 3 leaders were selected to begin their journey into the Order of the Arrow.

This weekend, 14 of them successfully completed their Ordeal and were officially inducted into the Order of the Arrow—Scouting America’s National Honor Society for camping and service.

What a memorable experience and the beginning of an incredible journey filled with fellowship, service, and adventure. So proud of this group!

Last weekend our Scouts held their annual planning lock-in — and the ideas were flying! From camping trips and hiking treks to sleeping in caves and planning winter adventures, this crew is ready for an unforgettable year.

They were up bright and early Saturday morning to run in our local Cupid Run 5K, while a few Scouts fueled the crowd by selling coffee and hot chocolate to spectators.

We’re excited for the year ahead and all the adventures waiting for us! 🏕️✨

Scout Sunday is an annual February observance that honors the contributions of both youth and adult members of Scouting. It is typically celebrated on the Sunday before February 8—the organization’s birthday—and emphasizes the Scout’s “Duty to God,” highlights service to the community, and recognizes the 12th point of the Scout Law: A Scout is Reverent.

This year, several Scouts and leaders attended both Sunday services, where they opened doors, warmly greeted parishioners, assisted with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, and participated in the worship service.

Our Veterans Day Flag Retirement Ceremony was a truly meaningful experience for our young Scouts. The evening began with opening remarks from one of our Den Leaders, who also happens to be a Marine Corps veteran.

Our Pack led the ceremony with great care, following each step of the proper flag retirement process. Afterwards, members of the Troop and audience were invited to participate, each placing a small piece of the flag into the fire with deep respect and gratitude.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, and a special salute to our veterans. This was an invaluable opportunity for our Scouts to learn the importance of honor, respect, and service to our country. ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

🔥 The BBQ sale was a huge success! Thank you to all our Scouts, parents, and leaders who gave their time on Saturday morning. A special shoutout to Mr. Shore for spending his birthday cooking up all that delicious BBQ! 💛 And of course, thank you to our amazing community for supporting our Scouts — we couldn’t do it without you!
