So Dr Sarah called… my dearest boy Wyley’s biopsy results came back….

NOT CANCER💕

I’ve been so worried about my guy, to me he is the heart of KARUNA .

Apparently it is a fibrous fatty lipoma… strange place on his jaw and if it starts to bother him or gets too large then we will get it removed. Feels like a huge weight lifted.

And as if I wasn’t feeling good enough coming home, this was my welcoming party.

It’s a good day !!

A huge thank you to Redwood Capital Bank for their donation towards new walls for our top barn.

After receiving a very generous donation earlier this year we got a brand new roof which was then installed by a wonderful crew from Danco…

Now we have funds to replace some of the walls💕

By winter it will be waterproof once again.

…. Maybe just in-time as I read its gonna be a very wet winter 🤦‍♀️

So many posts to catch up on. Everything has been so hectic so will work on catching up, in the meantime I wanted to update you on my special boy Wyley.

Yesterday didn’t go as I’d hoped. No foxtail found, no abscess. Dr Sarah took biopsies and sent them out. Now days of waiting and worrying.

This sweet gentle boy is the emotional support animal here for almost every new rescue that comes in. Calming and gentle…

My beloved boy Wyley will be having an unexpected surgery today after a large lump came up on his jaw.
I took him to see Sarah Green at Healing Spirit Vet yesterday and aspirating it didn’t produce any liquid/cells. I’m crossing my fingers it’s a foxtail or something that worked its way in there as the lump came up so quickly, and not something more scary 🤞

Wyley is my own personal dog and at over 12 years old has been a big part of my life for a long time. He is the reason Karuna happened ❤️‍🩹 he is also such a sweet calming influence on all our rescues that come in scared or traumatized. Even the baby pigs …

Will let everyone know how it goes.

Tomorrow hopefully will have time and sit down to post all the vet bills and add up all donation totals for our little bear warriors.. our community response was so amazing and I will never be able to say thank you enough.

Every animal here is special to us and so very loved, some are here forever and others will move on to their furever homes when the time is right and we find the best homes for them, and even then, they will still be members of our KARUNA family ❤️‍🩹
