Kee Cha E Nar (KCEN) will be giving out adult life jackets for Yurok Tribal members 18 and up. The giveaway will be on October 12, 2023 starting at 11 am, until gone at the Weitchpec office . In order to receive a life jacket, you must be present and provide your Tribal ID. Life jackets are limited and will be on a first come first serve basis. Kee Cha E Nar is sponsoring life jackets for Yurok and Tribal Youth. Requirements to receive a life jacket: Parent or Guardian must provide Tribal ID for self and fill out an application for Yurok or Tribal Youth. Life jackets are limited and are on first come first serve basis. The event will take place on Thursday, June 29th starting at 10 AM and will go on until life jackets are all gone.
