Are you a Cook or Chef?
Has God called you to do something but you're just not sure ?
Do you want to have the feeling of gratitude ?
Do you love to volunteer but only have a few hours ?
We are looking for a couple of cooks that can come in and prep a meal at the mission !
Usually only 4 hours per shift, you don't have to serve unless you want to.
I can be once a month or once a week, your choice.
No dish washing (the residents do this)
If this sounds like something you would like to do, please contact Candy at the Klamath Falls Gospel Mission @ 541-882-4895
(if you are not a volunteer yet, you'll need to fill out the app and attend an hour long meeting, Candy will fill you in)

Hey Klamath Community, I cook for the Klamath Falls Gospel Mission on Wednesday for dinner.
If they don't have the ingredients for what I want to make I go buy it and donate it.
I LOVE to spoil everyone when I cook and bake.
So I want to make a hearty Lasagna and to make enough for 100 can get spendy.
SOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'm putting the ingredients on here and am praying that the community could help.
I'm wanting to make it on January 14th
IF you can help please deliver them to the kitchen at the mission ASAP.

Lasagna noodles 10 #
Ricotta 5 #
shredded cheddar 5 #
shredded mozzerella 5 #
Hamburger 15 #
Italian spicy sausage 5 #
Italian stewed tomato's (15oz) 24 cans
red, yellow and green peppers 4 of each
mushrooms 5 #

"The rest of the meal" that night will be
homemade french garlic cheezy bread
green beans
tossed salad
Jell-o poke cakes
I will have the "rest of the meal" ingredients

As most of you know the Klamath Falls Gospel Mission has opened up a Catering company called GRACE & THYME CATERING.

I just want to reach out to those that have used the catering service so far and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are a non-profit and sometimes struggle to make ends meets, but with the catering company we are praying that God will provide the events that we will need to help support the mission in the every day expenses.

WE ARE STILL WORKING ON GETTING THE MENU POSTED STAY TUNED AND CHECK THE WEBSITE TO SEE.

We are looking for someone that can spot weld a few pans at the Gospel Mission Kitchen. Volunteering your time and such is ideal, but not necessary. Contact the mission at 541-882-4895 and ask for Jim in the kitchen.

Happy Happy New Year to everyone !
Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a thrift store right next to Wendy's (same side of street) they help support the animals. Not sure which one, but I thought I'd pass it on.
