It’s incredible to see the journey—from where these flowers started to the stunning displays now brightening our community streets. Their hard work, care, and attention to detail truly show in every basket.

We want to take a moment to once again celebrate ALL of the talented artists who submitted designs this year. While Rod Duarte was selected as our winner, every submission brought something unique, creative, and meaningful to the spirit of Klamath Falls. 🎨💚

We truly appreciate the time, energy, and heart that went into each design—your creativity helps showcase the pride and love we all have for our community.

🏆 Design Contest Winner! 🏆

We are excited to announce that Rod Duarte is the winner of this year’s Design Contest! 🎨✨

Rod’s design really stood out, and we are proud to feature his work representing Klamath Falls.

We had the pleasure of presenting him with the news at last week’s Chamber of Commerce Awake at 8-ish event—such a great moment celebrating local talent!

We can’t believe how fast this spring has flown by, before we know it, school will be out and summer fun will be in full swing! ☀️

We’re currently looking for additional vendors for both Third Thursday and Freedom Friday. If you’ve been thinking about joining us downtown, now is the time!

A couple weeks ago, the KFDA Executive Director, Jenn, had the opportunity to attend the Oregon Heritage Conference — spending time in Woodburn, Stayton, Mt. Angel, and Aurora alongside downtown leaders and preservation advocates from across the state.

From inspiring tours and educational panels to reconnecting with old friends and building new partnerships, the experience was full of ideas, resources, and conversations centered around preserving and strengthening our communities.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from so many thriving historic downtowns and excited to bring that inspiration back home. ✨
