Today, we're celebrating the hardworking farmers and ranchers who help feed our families, care for the land, and keep our local food system growing.

Behind every harvest is a whole lot of dedication, early mornings, unpredictable weather, hard-earned knowledge, and a genuine love for what they do.

We're fortunate to work alongside so many incredible producers here in the Klamath Basin, and we're grateful for everything they bring to our tables and our community.

The best way to thank a farmer? Keep choosing local. 🥕🌱

Free film and food tonight at The Ross Ragland Theater cultural center!
Thank you to Healthy Klamath and Nutrition Oregon for putting this highlight on the importance of good nutrition for community members now and into the future.
Local produce will be given away to attendees!

Grab some popcorn and watch a documentary that features Klamath Falls, an OHSU researcher, a Hollywood producer and British teenagers fighting for better nutrition for healthier communities.

Join us for a free, in-person screening of The 100-Year Effect in beautiful Klamath Falls! Come connect with local residents dedicated to improving the health of their community and film buffs who love a good story. This documentary follows a researcher from OHSU and a Hollywood producer on a quest to share science imperative to reducing chronic disease risk and improving community health. In the process they find Kelsey Mueller-Wendt, the youngest elected city councilor in Klamath Falls, and follow her journey through the birth of her first child and her work to make Klamath County the healthiest place to have a baby and raise a family.
