Despite Nebuchadnezzar's recognition that God exists and works great miracles, in 4:30 we see that he still did not acknowledge God as his Lord. We may recognize that God exists and does wonderful miracles, but God is not going to change us until we acknowledge him as LORD.

Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down; deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword. Psalm 17:13

The sword, of course, is a reference to the Word. The key is to be in the Word and in touch with the Lord because it is as we hear what He says and make His Word the basis for our prayer that our soul is delivered.

As the life of a deer depends on water, so our lives depends upon God. If your thirsting, perhaps it's because your drinking from old watering holes; trying to find satisfaction from the world. Come to the Lord, drink of Him, draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. That's not my word but HIS.

What a witness it must have been to all at Tyre to see all these people praying together. There is just something humbling and powerful to kneel and pray. Don't be ashamed. We can witness even through prayer.

And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from the alter before the Lord. Leviticus 16:12

The only fire from which the priests were to ignite their censers was the fire on the alter. What did Nadab and Abihu do? They lit their own fire. Some times in our own enthusiasm to serve the Lord we step out and want some of what the Lord is doing and take part in it only to lite our own fire.The fire that will keep you fired up that will never burn you out, comes from seeing that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for you personally and for each of your sins individually.
