The Oregon Legislature is considering a bill (Senate Bill 916/House Bill 3434) that would make Oregon the third state in the country to provide workers on strike unemployment benefits. Unemployment would kick in for workers who are on the strike lines for more than 7 days.

You can help the bill become a reality by submitting written testimony to Oregon's elected leaders. The bill is set to be heard before the Senate Committee on Labor and Business. Your support and testimony will be shared with legislators as they consider whether to vote for or against this critical worker protection.
