🍽️✨ Tonight, our new and current Board members came together for a special dinner and our final official Board meeting of the Rotary year.

It was an evening of celebration, gratitude, and looking ahead as we recognized the outstanding leadership of President Ken and all that he accomplished during his year of service. His dedication, vision, and commitment have helped make this a successful and impactful year for our club.

We also took time to welcome and support RaShell as she prepares to step into the role of President for the coming year. We are excited for what lies ahead and look forward to continuing our work together under her leadership.

A special thank you goes to Chris Moudry, Matt Hurley, and Steve Bocchi, who are concluding their service on the Board. Their years of dedication, leadership, and countless volunteer hours have helped shape our club and strengthen our ability to serve our community. We are deeply grateful for their contributions and the lasting impact they have made.

And finally, thank you to Lexi and Omar for their willingness and hospitality, welcoming board members and their spouses into their home for a wonderful dinner đź’™

Rain couldn’t stop the Rotary spirit! 🌧️ Last night we hosted our monthly Rotary social, and despite the intense rainstorm, Rotarians and guests still came together for a great evening of fellowship and celebration!

We were also excited to announce that Lexi was recognized by as a “Rotarian Recruiter Celebrity” for her outstanding efforts in growing Rotary and welcoming new members. Congratulations, Lexi! 🎉

Celebrating the next generation of leaders! 🎓

The Klamath Falls Rotary Foundation awarded $57,000 in scholarships to 15 graduating seniors representing eight high schools across Klamath County and beyond. Award amounts for the 2026–27 academic year ranged from $2,500 to $5,000.

We were honored to welcome several scholarship recipients to our Rotary meeting to accept their awards in person. Congratulations to each student and best wishes for continued success!

Ready to make a difference in the Klamath Basin?

This week, the Klamath County Rotary Club welcomed guests who came to discover what Rotary is all about and how our club turns service into action right here at home.

The room was buzzing with energy, excitement, and curiosity as we shared the projects, partnerships, and volunteer opportunities that help strengthen our community. From serving neighbors to supporting youth, building connections, and tackling local needs, Rotary offers a place for people of action to roll up their sleeves and get involved.

The next generation of Klamath County Rotarians were among us, and the future looks bright.

Today our club hosted an open forum for the Klamath County Commissioner Position #2 race, providing members and guests with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates ahead of the election. Three candidates participated in person, including current commissioner Kelley Minty, with a fourth candidate offering a submitted written responses to the questions presented.

The forum encouraged thoughtful discussion on issues important to our community and gave attendees the chance to become better informed voters. By creating a space for respectful dialogue and civic engagement, the event reflected Rotary’s commitment to community leadership and informed decision-making.

Congratulations to two outstanding Rotarians, Jim Witt and Taylor Hampton-Tinkham, recipients of the “Wings of Service” Award!

Last week, we had the privilege of recognizing several incredible individuals for the impact they make throughout our communities, and today we were honored to present two more awards to Jim and Taylor for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to service above self.

Their efforts continue to inspire those around them and reflect the very best of Rotary in action. Thank you all for the countless ways you strengthen our communities and embody the spirit of service.
