Volunteer Days are almost here! From May 30-June 7, REALTORS® across Oregon will roll up their sleeves to give back, and we’re excited to spotlight some of the incredible plans in motion.

If you’re in the southern part of the state, be on the lookout for Klamath County Association of REALTORS® on June 1. They’ll be working on their adopt-a-highway cleanup, bringing safety and beauty to their community along Highway 140 and Lakeshore Drive.

Your Klamath County Association of Realtors spend their time volunteering in numerous ways for many organizations in our local area (and contributing monetarily!). Including, but not limited to, the Klamath Animal Shelter, Citizens for Safe Schools, Friends of the Children, the YMCA, Steen Sports Park, Klamath Basin Senior Center, Chiloquin Visions, Klamath County Fairgrounds, Downtown Klamath Falls, Relief Angels, IYS, United Way, KCC Foundation, Soroptimist, CASA-and SO many more!

We do this as individual agents, together in our own offices, as well as an association comprised of all local real estate industry professionals because we CARE about our local community and all of the hard work these agencies do for our people, pets and land!

For about 10 years now KCAR has participated in the Adopt a Highway program - and this June our efforts to help clean-up Highway 140 fall right in line with the National Association of Realtors volunteer days. We are excited to give back along with real estate agents across the country!
