Phew! These Brixner FBLA students just experienced the whirlwind that is Oregon FBLA's State Business Leadership Conference!

They have experienced what it is like to attend a conference, visualized over a thousand students like them, received some pretty cool hardware, and made memories that will last a lifetime!

A big thank you to Benefit for the Basin and those who helped us with our other fundraisers to make this an opportunity our students were able to attain!

Fundraising time! Brixner FBLA will be selling Santa Grams during Lunch B next week for delivery on December 18. (Or see Mrs. Crowder before/after school if you have Lunch A!)

Santa Grams are a fun way to show friends you are thinking about them! Pay $1 and get a blank card to color and write a message (school appropriate of course!). Return the card to Mrs. Crowder and FBLA will attach a candy cane and deliver it for you on December 18th before the break!

Wondering about Chapter Meetings?

Here are the dates for 2025-26. Please note that the "Mandatory Parent Meetings" only requires attending one of the two meetings.

If students have conflicts, have them see Mrs. Crowder during the day to let her know.

How will you make your mark at school this year? Join FBLA to learn new skills, showcase your skills and be recognized!

Students can come learn about FBLA at the after school meeting on September 24th or see Mrs. Crowder in Room 10.

A parent/guardian must attend one of the mandatory meetings on October 8th or October 13th to learn about the financial and travel portions of this chapter.

Students must turn in their application to Mrs. Crowder by October 20th.

We are still collecting new and used (but still good condition) shoes for our FBLA fundraiser.

We need to fill the truck by June. Can you help us gather more shoes?

More drop-off days are being scheduled at Brixner, or PM us for pick-up in Klamath Falls.

Brixner FBLA is headed home after a successful three days in Portland at the Oregon FBLA State Business Leadership Conference!

Things we are bringing home:
- 24 Top 10 placements (14 of those 24 were top 4),
- an award for the largest middle school chapter in Oregon,
- 2nd place in Sweepstakes (a ranking calculation based on the number of awards at each level),
- National Business Honor Roll, Lead Award,
- 2 of the 8 state officer titles!

Our students left at 4 am Thursday and have been on the go with presentations, workshops, campaigning. But we also learned about hotel and restaurant etiquettes, time management and scheduling, and more!

More pictures will be posted after we get a chance to review them, but we are so excited we had to share!!!

A special thank you to all who helped us get these kids to State!!!

Just a reminder that students are at Brixner Junior High School today from 10 to noon to gather the shoes you no longer want/need that are in good shape!

Brixner Jr High's FBLA Chapter is raising funds for our trip to the State Business Leadership Conference and we need your help!

We have partnered with Funds2Orgs to set up a Shoe Drive!

What is a Shoe Drive?
We gather up new and good (but used) condition shoes from the community and turn them over to Funds2Orgs who sends them to developing countries to help them with a sustainable business and of course putting shoes on everyone's feet! They make a donation back to our chapter after we reach our goal!

We need:
All Sizes
All Styles
Sports Shoes (cleats) too

If you wouldn't give them to a friend, then please don't donate them!

We will post a Saturday Drop-Off day soon, but if you have them ready either drop them by Brixner (4727 Homedale Road) or message us to see about pick-up!

Three of our Brixner students attended the Klamath County School District Board meeting on January 16 to observe a meeting and represent all junior high FBLA members in the county.
