KEVIN DORIN:

Kevin Dorin is a Canadian-born songwriter and musician whose soulful vibrato and genre-bending sound have made him a standout voice in the inland Northwest. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Dorin now calls northern Idaho home, where he has built a reputation for blending folk, blues, and Americana into a style that is both timeless and contemporary.

With influences often described as a mix of “Ed Sheeran’s lyrical intimacy and The Black Keys’ raw blues grit,” Dorin’s music carries a strong blues foundation while crossing genres with ease. His lyrics are compelling, his voice unmistakable, and his performances magnetic.

Dorin first made waves as the lead singer of the blues-alt band Bigger Fish Than Guns, touring extensively across Western Canada. His solo work has further cemented his artistry, most notably with the seven-track album “Invisible Lines” (2018). Recorded in his home studio with mostly analog gear he personally modified, the project showcases Dorin’s multi-instrumental talent and production vision. The album was mastered by New York engineer Carol Rowatti using high-end analog equipment, including a compressor famously employed by The Beatles, giving the record a warm, authentic edge.

Over the years, Dorin has shared stages with international touring acts including AWOLNATION, Scott Pemberton Trio, LeRoy Bell (“X Factor,” Elton John), and Madeline Hawthorne, earning recognition for his ability to captivate audiences across diverse settings.

Kevin Dorin’s music is a journey through invisible lines—where folk storytelling, blues soul, and Americana grit converge into something uniquely his own.

THE UNCHARTED PROJECT:

The Uncharted Project is where jazz sparks, soul grooves, and indie heart collide. With LA jazz guitarist John Fortune’ and Oregon-born singer-songwriter Cassia Dawn, the duo blends fiery guitar rhythms with luminous vocals to create music that is both timeless and fresh. Their sound moves effortlessly between jazzy-soul, R&B, and blues, delivering performances that are energetic, heartfelt, and unforgettable.

Together, they craft songs that feel like stories — rhythms that compel, harmonies that linger, and lyrics that connect. From Hollywood stages to Oregon festivals, The Uncharted Project brings audiences into a journey of rhythm and soul, proving that music can be both deeply personal and universally resonant.
