(History of our Chapter)

Our chapter was established in 1995 by hosting its first Annual Hunting Heritage Super Fund banquet at the Grandview Inn in South Point, Ohio. The first committee of nine members back in 1995 were; Buddy Fry, Mickee Fry, Robert Burcham, Richard Meyers,Darrell Fry, Bruce McGinnis, Brent Saxton, Mike Whitley and Brian James. Our chapter has had five committee members in the past years who have served on the NWTF Ohio State Board and they are; Buddy Fry, Mickee Fry, Robert Burcham, Brenda Burcham and Larry Kingery. Larry Pernestti is currently serving on the state board. Buddy Fry also served on the NWTF National Board from 2010-2013. Thanks to those dedicated people for their leadership, passion and drive that has led our chapter to where we are today and have grown in committee size, banquet size, community and outreach events and programs. We actively participate in JAKES, Wheelin Sportsmen and Women in the Outdoors, currently we host 8+ events. (Our 2023 Events)
