So many families and volunteers today at the Library to meet Blades the Boston Bruins Mascot, play games and eat popsicles.

Such a joy to watch Storytime with one of our amazing RPL librarians, Sarah, and a large group of kids and families at Nooney Farm today. Farm and animal stories, songs, nature crafts, and an exploration around the flowers and vegetables bed. A delight for all! Thank you Nooney Farm and Rice Public Library.

Thanks to all! Happy summer reading!

Perfect day for the Kittery Block Party!

Friends of Rice Public Library had a successful Used Book sale outside the library and it was busy with buyers from pre-start to finish! Thank you all who participated by browsing and buying books or just stopping by to say how much you appreciate our wonderful library and librarians!

We raised over $1000 to benefit the museum and association passes and the children’s summer reading program. A huge success!

Thanks to the amazing librarians who helped with all the prep and set up behind the scenes -Lee, Katie, Greta, Asher - you made our FoRPL team’s work so much easier. And thanks to those who donated their used books to help this all happen.

Remember the Book Nook area in the library where used books and puzzles are available for a small donation year round.
