Kittery Rotary Club and Kittery After Hours joined forces once more to donate 154 pounds of jams and jellies to Footprints Food Pantry. Every month we collect items on their wish list. Next month it will be stocks and broth.

Another Rotary Club of Kittery tradition is to help our students have all the school supplies they need. Kittery Superintendent of Schools, JoAnne Dowd, accepts our recent donation from long-time Rotarian Pam Gray. You can never have enough notebooks, glue sticks, pens and markers!!

Kittery Rotary Rocked It this year by sponsoring 2 sets of 10 month student exchanges! Hippo Simon came here from France and Marie Bieu from Austria where they attended Traip Academy. Kittery students, Jackson Guay and CeCe Gagner went to Belgium and Hungary. Jackson & Cece recently attended our meeting to tell us about their life changing experiences. Thank you to the host families and their hosting Rotary clubs for making this possible!

Spices were the order for July at Footprints so here are our Rotarians adding their 40 pounds of donated seasonings to a delicious rack of BBQ chicken!! YUM!!

Jams, Jellies, PB and Fluff are up next for August. Drop us a comment if you’d like to donate, we will shop for you!! Or bring your donation to Footprints at Noon on September 1st and you’ll be in our next video!!

Congratulations to three Traip Academy Seniors who were each awarded a $1000 Rotary Club of Kittery Scholarship during their recent graduation ceremony. They submitted the top essays describing what the Rotary 4-Way Test means to them.

They received their checks at a recent Rotary Club meeting and, although Noelle could not attend because she was at her college orientation, A(llen) I(verson) helped us bring her there! Enjoy the video and congratulate these deserving graduates!!
