This calming effect is learned through the physical practice of traditional kata (forms), as well as breathing techniques, decision making skills - and the evaluation process of when to passively or actively defend ones self - or simply walk away. Martial Arts have been proven to assist in the physical, mental and spiritual stability of many issues, in all walks of life. Scott Lombardo Founded V-MAT in 2015 along with William Miller, an Army Veteran. They are well rounded in the culture, history and philosophy of the arts, in addition to the physical aspects of forms, sparring and self-defense.
