And What's More...

Have you ever wondered what the "& More" in our name represents? We help Kittery families with more than just staying warm. The “MORE” in our mission helps Kittery families get through difficult times and unexpected emergencies by helping with the cost of car repairs, electric bills, transportation expenses, housing, essential items, childcare, and more in coordination with York County Community Action.

We provide gift cards to counselors in the Kittery Schools so they can help students who lack warm clothing with other emergency situations.

We make the season brighter for families by partnering with the Kittery Holiday Basket Program to purchase Winter jackets, snowsuits, boots, hats, mittens, and warm socks each year.

If your basic needs are met, and you'd like to help your Kittery neighbors through challenging times, attending our Friends for Fuel Benefit & Auction on October 19 is a great way to help fund this mission while enjoying great food, a live band, and live and silent auctions! ❄ Snow! It's really coming down out there, with more on the way this weekend. As much as we love a real "Maine Winter", we also know that heating costs can be a burden for many families. If you need help with the cost of heating fuel, firewood, or even furnace repairs, please don't be left out in the cold. Contact Fuel & More at 207-703-8288 to find out what help might be available. Even if you've applied for HEAP or other fuel assistance programs and been found ineligible, you may be eligible for help through Fuel & More.

We are honored and grateful to have received a grant from New Hampshire Charitable Foundation's Thomas W. Haas Fund in support of our work to keep Kittery warm.
