Help us help pups like Maxie feel better. 💜🐾

At Smallest Souls Animal Rescue, we take in some of the most vulnerable pups—the ones who need extra care and a chance to heal.

We recently took in a couple of pups who were emaciated. They’ve been improving, but now they’re losing fur and have needed veterinary care. Our recent vet bills have surpassed $1,600, and we’re also running low on food.

It’s hard to ask for help again, but we can’t do this alone. A few dollars toward their vet bills, a bag of puppy food, or a share!

We also need fosters! If you can open your home to a pup in need, please reach out. A safe, loving place to recover makes such a difference. 🐾

Hi, I'm Nala — a 2-year-old tan and white terrier mix who's ready to become your new best friend! 💕 I'm already spayed and housetrained, which means I'm set up for success in my forever home. I'm affectionate, loyal, and smart, and I get along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and kids, so I'll fit right into active families. I do have some special dietary needs we can chat about, but that's a small detail when you consider all the love and cuddles I have to give! 🐾 My adoption fee is $350 — come meet me and let's start our adventure together! 🎉

‼️We need some help keeping these little bellies full‼️

We could really use puppy food, kitten food, and formula for both. These babies depend on us, and we depend on the help of our community to keep caring for them.

If you can send a bag of food, a can of formula, or a few dollars toward supplies, we would be so grateful. We have other needed items on our wishlists too. It doesn’t have to be a big donation. Even one item helps.

We also need volunteers who can watch pups the night before their spay/neuter appointments or help get them to the clinic. Please message me if you can help with either.

I know times are hard for so many. If you can’t donate, please share, share, share. Someone you know may be able to help.

We’re looking for adopters ($350 fee) and fosters (we cover all costs) too. Giving a pup a home, even temporarily, is another way to help.

🍼 URGENT: We NEED puppy formula!

We are bottle feeding 7 puppies and need help keeping their little bellies full.

PetSense is closing, and their food is 70% off. We took advantage of the sale to stretch our rescue dollars, but the receipts still totaled $958.68.

With vet bills piling up too, it’s getting harder to keep adoption fees low while giving every puppy the care they need. We could really use our community’s help.

Please consider sending puppy formula from our wishlists or donating toward their care. Even $5 helps. If you can’t donate, sharing means so much.

Meet Mr Max!

Located in Kissimmee, Fl

He was surrendered due to his fur dad being disabled and unable to care for him. The great community of Poinciana helped this little guy with care he needed. He is HW-, neutered, vaccinated, kid tested, cat tested, older folk tested. Even though he prefers being the only attention in the home, he is good with all creatures. He loves loves beds and balls. This little guy has hoarded all the beds and the toys he finds and piles them all next to his foster Mom's bed. He does suckle on the beds but if a blanket is offered he does take it.

It has been a blessing watching this scared little guy blossom. He did great at the vet's office.

Max is a 3yr old, 13.6lb poodle mix so grooming is essential. He currently has really short hair. He needs to continue Nexgard plus or another flea/hw preventive. He has really bad flea allergy.

If you would like to meet Max text 954-298-1951 or fill out an adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SMAL/Dog

💔 TEN WERE BORN. ONLY FOUR REMAIN. PLEASE HELP US FIGHT FOR THEM.💔

These babies are just 7 days old. Some have red spots and very red paws. One needed dead tissue removed from a wound on his nose. We are waiting on cultures and looking into a necropsy to understand why we’ve lost so many so quickly.

Their owner started bottle-feeding when Momma wasn’t feeling well and wasn’t nursing. When two babies died, she knew something was wrong and asked for help. Two more passed before we took in the remaining six. We then lost one overnight and had to humanely euthanize another at the vet.

It’s heartbreaking. Our foster feels every loss, and we are doing everything we can for the four still with us.

Please, no bad-mouthing their family. She tried to help her babies and reached out when she needed us. We will also help get the female dogs in the household spayed.

We have spent $977.70 in recent vet bills:
• $463.70 for this litter’s visit and testing
• $314 to neuter two rescue pups
• $200 for our other litter’s vet visit

That doesn’t include formula, supplies, or the care still ahead.

Our other six puppies are still having some respiratory symptoms but are gaining weight every day. Momma Snow has been their angel, keeping them clean. We also have a tiny kitten who was found crying in a car engine and is now doing well in foster care.

We need help keeping all 11 babies cared for. If you can spare $5 or $10, donate formula, or send a Chewy or Amazon e-gift card, we would be so grateful.
