We are deeply saddened by the passing of Charlie Henault, the founder of Dream Factory National Headquarters.

Since Dream Factory’s inception in 1980, Charlie Henault fostered a lasting legacy that touched countless children's and families' lives through joy and bringing dreams and wishes to life. We are grateful for our partnership with Dream Factory and the impact their work continues to have on families.

Our thoughts and condolences are with the Dream Factory organization, their loved ones, and those who had the opportunity to work alongside Charlie.

Today, we celebrate International Day of Play with our partners at Hasbro! 💫🧩

In May, Team Hasbro volunteers joined us at the Village, lending a hand across several venues and supporting Village beautification projects. Their impact extends far beyond a single week of service - throughout the year, Hasbro helps make play possible for the children and families we serve by providing toys, games, and activities that create moments of joy, connection, and curiosity.

On International Day of Play, we're grateful for partners like Hasbro who help ensure every child has opportunities to experience joy, share smiles, and simply be a kid through the power of play. 💜

✨ “Henri kept this picture in a little office area that they had inside of Amberville for a number of years. That meant a lot to us.”

Travis, Amber and their family visited the Village in 1990 on Travis' wish and in 1992 on Amber's wish.

Last week at our Storyteller Gathering, our Storytellers joined together for a special opportunity to hear and celebrate our new Village Core Values: Compassion, Integrity, Curiosity, Gratitude, and Teamwork ⭐️

These Core Values were purposefully and thoughtfully developed with the help of our Light Keepers, a team of dedicated Storytellers who worked to ensure that Henri Landwirth’s vision, story, and mission shined brightly for generations to come.

Through interactive team games and challenges, Storytellers explored what each Core Value looks like in action at the Village and how they can use these Core Values to guide their decisions and actions to create happiness that inspires hope at the Village.

Our Core Values are a reflection of who we are, what we believe in, and how we come together to make every family who visits the Village feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated. Thank you to our Light Keepers for helping illuminate the path forward while honoring Henri Landwirth’s legacy that inspires our mission every day. 💜💫
