Rated Four Stars by Charity Navigator, Give Kids The World Village is a whimsical, 89-acre nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, FL, that provides transformative weeklong wish vacations to critically ill children and their families. When wish-granting organizations receive a request from a child with a critical illness who wants to visit Central Florida, Give Kids The World fulfills the wish – providing each child and his/her family with a magical weeklong stay at absolutely no cost. Each family receives transportation, accommodations in one of the Village’s 166 storybook residential villas, all meals and snacks, nightly entertainment, donated tickets to Orlando’s world-class theme parks and attractions, and priceless interactive experiences at the Village. Since 1986, Give Kids The World has welcomed nearly 200,000 families from all 50 states and 76 countries to enjoy precious time laughing together, playing together, and creating priceless memories away from hospital stays and medical treatments. Last weekend, TeamRunGKTW set out for a fun-filled race weekend at the 2026 runDisney W**e and Dine Half Marathon Weekend! ⭐️ From racing through the parks to post-run celebrations, TeamRunGKTW had a memorable weekend sharing the joy of the Village with the running community.

Thanks to our amazing runners and supporters, together we raised an incredible $122,427, helping bring children’s wishes and dreams to life at Give Kids The World. 💜

Thank you to everyone who ran, shared the Give Kids The World mission, and helped make this race weekend so special. We’re so grateful to have you on TeamRunGKTW and cannot wait for the next runDisney race weekend! 🏃‍♀️💫

As IAAPA Expo Orlando 2026 gets closer, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible industry partners who have helped make Give Kids The World Village what it is today. ⭐️

One of those valued partners is B Morrow Productions!

B. Morrow Productions helped bring Henri’s Star to life inside the Castle of Miracles, honoring Village founder Henri Landwirth during our 40th anniversary celebration. ⭐️

Surrounded by more than 200,000 stars personalized by wish children over the years, Henri’s Star serves as a lasting tribute to Henri’s legacy and a guiding North Star for the Village’s future.

The Village is grateful to B. Morrow Productions for helping bring this meaningful tribute to life and honor Henri’s legacy. Thank you for helping create such a memorable centerpiece of our Castle of Miracles! 💜

Margaret and her family visited Give Kids The World in March 2026. During her stay, Margaret’s wish became a reality as she and her family experienced the magic of the Village, Central Florida theme parks, and the opportunity to create unforgettable family memories.

For years, Give Kids The World and Canine Companions have shared a special partnership built around the impact of furry friends and their companions. 💜

From welcoming future service dogs to the Village to hosting a two-week training session in 2020 that helped match 16 service and facility dogs with the people they would go on to support, this partnership has been part of the Village’s story in so many ways.

Over the years, several of these incredible dogs have even been raised right here at the Village by former Storytellers!

Today, we’re celebrating another exciting milestone on ! Our President and CEO, Caroline Schumacher, and her dog, Denzel, have earned their certification as a therapy dog with Canine Companions. 🐾 Denzel was adopted through the Canine Companions therapy dog program. With his new certification as a therapy dog, Denzel will be able to work part-time at the Village interacting, meeting, and spreading joy and comfort to our guests who stay with us. In addition to families, Denzel brings connection and positivity among our Storytellers. His presence simply offers Storytellers a chance to pause and recharge, offering the serotonin boost that Denzel brings to everyone he meets.

We’re so grateful for this partnership and the people and dogs who have been part of it along the way!

On Sunday, Give Kids The World welcomed AdventHealth and families to the Village for the AdventHealth for Children Family Day! 💜

Families enjoyed a fun-filled day on the Avenue with life-size board games, lunch and a movie by the Park of Dreams Pool, and remarks from our President and CEO, Caroline Schumacher, and AdventHealth for Children Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Vanessa Carroll. Both spoke about the strong partnership between AdventHealth for Children and Give Kids The World and the power of joy in creating lasting family memories.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for AdventHealth for Children Family Day and to the partners and supporters who help bring these special experiences to life! ⭐️

Arianna and her family visited Give Kids The World in February 2025. During her stay, Arianna’s wish became a reality as she and her family experienced the magic of the Village, Central Florida theme parks, and the opportunity to create unforgettable family memories.

“Arianna’s wish was to visit Disney World and Universal. What we remember most is simply being able to have fun together as a family. For that entire week, we didn’t have to worry about medical appointments or everything that normally comes with our everyday life. We could just be a family and make memories together.”
