The Oloshas United year-end initiatives will soon be in full swing, beginning with the Dress in white campaign that starts on December 1st. Thereafter, cities across the US, the Caribbean, South America, and Europe will be hosting events as well.

Since 1959, the growth experienced by the Orisha community has been formidable. The devotion to our Orishas is no longer limited to Africa, Brazil, Cuba, and Trinidad. We have grown beyond those geographical borders. As a growing international community, unity becomes most significant, and it should be our primary goal. The various Orisha traditions may vary in their approaches to the Divine, but as a collective, we all pay homage and pray to the same energies.

There are several communities that are still wavering to join this movement. Where are you Yorubaland, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Spain, Italy, France? Do not lag behind. Bring your communities together and host an event in the name of peace and well-being, as in this day and age, world peace and healing is no longer an ideal: it is a pressing necessity!
