A Night to Remember! 🩷🤍💜

It happened! Last night, during our W**e Bingo fundraiser at Big John’s Rockin’ BBQ, we were honored to receive an incredible donation toward the Minnie Moore Willson Historical Marker!

We are so grateful to:
🇺🇸 Makinson Carson Post 10 of the American Legion — $300
🇺🇸 Sons of the Legion — $500
🇺🇸 James W. Fisher — $100
🇺🇸 Bill & Karen Johnson — $100

That’s $1,000 toward making our historical marker a reality!

Minnie Moore Willson was the first president of the Kissimmee Woman’s Club and a remarkable woman whose contributions to our community and the Seminole people deserve to be remembered.

Thank you to everyone who believes in this project and is helping us honor her legacy. We are getting closer!

Thank you, American Legion family, for helping us make history! 🇺🇸

We are thrilled to announce that American Legion Post 10 Kissimmee, Fl is helping us preserve Kissimmee history with a generous donation to our Minnie Moore Willson Florida Historical Marker Fund!

🏆WE WON!🏆

The Kissimmee Woman's Club is honored to be named Best Non-Profit in Downtown Kissimmee in the Best of Downtown Kissimmee awards presented by Kissimmee Main Street !

This award means so much to us because it represents more than a title.

It represents the incredible support of our members, friends, and community who took the time to vote for us.

Over the past three years, we have built meaningful relationships with Kissimmee Main Street and the businesses throughout Downtown Kissimmee.

By participating in downtown events, showing up for our community, and getting to know our neighbors, KWC has become more connected than ever.

And when you look at where we were just six years ago, this moment is even more special.

Membership was declining, and the future of the club was uncertain. Today, thanks to the dedication of our members, KWC is growing, serving our community, supporting local organizations, awarding scholarships, and continuing the work we began in 1909.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey and helped us get here.

Thank you for believing in The Kissimmee Woman's Club, supporting our mission, and voting for us!

We are so proud to be your Best Non-Profit in Downtown Kissimmee! 🩷🤍💜

Kissimmee has always been a community that comes together.

The Kissimmee Woman's Club is proud to be a part of that community since 1909.

Our history is important to us. 🩷🤍💜

This photo takes us back nearly 100 years to 1927, capturing a community dinner on Broadway in Kissimmee.

A lot has changed since then, but one thing remains the same: Kissimmee has always been a community that comes together.

Mucho ha cambiado desde entonces, pero algo permanece igual: Kissimmee siempre ha sido una comunidad que se une.
