This week’s cooking classes were full of flavor! Our groups prepared several different kinds of delicious chicken tacos while practicing their cooking skills and working together. The best part, of course, was getting to enjoy everything they made!

Our participants had plenty to keep them busy this week, from cooking classes and arts & crafts to trips to the library. We even squeezed in a special outing to enjoy some Frostys!
These are just a few of the many activities that filled our week. We love giving everyone opportunities to try new things, get out in the community, spend time with friends, and most importantly, have some fun along the way!

For our final week everyone had the chance to enjoy either The Sandlot or The Muppets. And of course, we couldn’t end our summer movie outings without a special treat, popcorn for everyone! Our summer movies have definitely been a favorite this year, and we’ve loved seeing everyone enjoy a different movie each week!

Another busy and fun day at The Opportunity Center! Some of our individuals headed to the movies; others spent the day swimming at the aquatic center through the SNAP program, and our seniors got to enjoy one of their favorites: BINGO!

We love days like this when everyone has different activities to choose from and can spend the day doing something they enjoy.

Another fun and busy day at the ADT! Some of our participants headed to the Library for All program at Osceola Library System, where they got creative making their own maracas. Others spent time in cooking class making chicken tacos thanks to a special donation from Osceola Response Team!

Our participants showed off their silliest, brightest, and most colorful socks for Spirit Day today! We love finding simple ways to have a little extra fun and let everyone show off their personality.

Our movie outings have become one of our participants' favorite summer traditions. This week, they had the chance to enjoy either Charlie the Wonderdog or Despicable Me 4, It's always a great day when we can get out, make memories, and enjoy a movie together!
