🎄❤️ Help Us Make Christmas Extra Special for the Children of Hope Children’s Home! ❤️🎄

Please see the attached flyer for information about our upcoming Hope Children’s Home event on December 15th.

We are excited to invite our county FCW organizations to participate by adopting one or more children and helping make their Christmas wishes come true! 🎁✨

• Number of children your county would like to adopt

Once Linda receives this information, she will send you the information for your child/children, including their wish list and other details.

🎁 Gift Information:
The typical amount spent per child is $100–$150, but any amount is greatly appreciated—there is absolutely no required spending amount. Every gift and every act of kindness makes a difference. ❤️

If possible, please place gifts in large canvas-style gift bags to help prevent tearing.

📍 Please bring all gifts to the December Quarterly in Okeechobee on December 10th/11th. If you will not be attending the Quarterly, please contact Linda to make arrangements for delivery.

✨ Important: This year, ALL FCW members are invited to attend! An RSVP is required by December 1st. Please see the attached flyer for RSVP information.

⭐️♥️🤠 FCW MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Mrs. JUANITA SIKES ~
A real FLORIDA CRACKER and she raises FLORIDA CRACKER CATTLE and CRACKER HORSES!
🐂🐎Miss Juanita will know all about that fancy pace a Cracker Horse sets as they click off their steps!

I am truly a Fl Cracker, born, raised and still live in Brooksville. I grew up on a farm the youngest of five girls. Since we had no brothers we were the farmhands, so learned early on all about the work.
Sam and I have been married for 54 years. We have 2 sons, 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. We maintain a small herd of cross bred beef cattle plus a herd of registered Cracker Cattle. We also have Cracker horses.
We raise the Cracker steers for their very lean ground beef. I have a number of repeat customers and a wait list for the meat.
I was a charter member of Hernando County Cowbelles way back when. I am currently involved with Hernando Co Cattlewomen and Cattlemen, National Cattlewomen and sit on the Hernando Citrus Farm Bureau board.
I think it is very important to not only pass on our cattle history but to mentor young people about the current cattle industry. Those of us in the business have the responsibility of sharing our knowledge.
I am Baptist by Faith attending the same small church I grew up in. I play the piano some Sundays.
I was taught not to name cows but I do have a few special ones with names, that I can hand feed!
