🐾 Meet Bug 🐾
At just 3 days old and weighing only 72 grams, Bug entered our rescue fighting for his life. Premature and far too tiny to nurse, he survived on syringe feedings—drop by drop, every 2 hours, around the clock.
From the very beginning, Bug proved he was a fighter. Tiny but mighty, he made sure everyone knew when he was hungry! ❤️
As he grew, his fosters (Gail Coe and Lisa Stevens) noticed something wasn’t quite right. A lump on his back leg, difficulty walking, and eventually abnormalities in multiple limbs led us on a journey to find answers. After evaluations with our veterinarian Dr. Vergel Crystal Creek Animal Hospital and a referral to specialists at UF, it was determined that Bug will need advanced diagnostics and likely corrective surgery to help him live the life every kitten deserves.
Today, Bug is thriving in foster care. He has kitten siblings to play with, eats on his own, uses the litter box, and spends his days trying to conquer the cat tree in his room. Every day he shows us just how determined he is.
On June 15th, Bug has an appointment at UF for a full-body CT scan, a critical step in planning his treatment. We need your help to get him there.
Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helps this little warrior get one step closer to climbing all the way to the top of that cat tree. ❤️
Thank you for believing in kittens like Bug and helping us give them a chance at the life they deserve.
