Meals on Wheels Needs Your Help!

https://donorbox.org/meals-on-wheels-gas-card-raffle

Our Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver more than meals. They provide nutrition, a friendly face, and an important connection to seniors throughout Osceola County.

This October, help keep our volunteer drivers on the road through our Fuel A Route campaign.

A suggested $20 donation helps provide gas-card assistance to Meals on Wheels volunteers who use their own vehicles to serve local seniors.

And now, there’s even more excitement:

Win a 65-inch TV! Drawing: November 1, 2026.

Every donor to this October campaign also receives one entry into our Jeep Raffle! Jeep drawing: November 14, 2026.

Fuel Volunteers. Support Seniors. Strengthen Our Community.

Every week, our volunteers travel throughout Osceola County delivering nutritious meals and checking on older adults who may otherwise have very little contact with others.

Fuel costs can make volunteering more difficult. Your support helps provide gas cards to the dedicated drivers who continue showing up, route after route.

Your suggested $20 contribution helps us:

Provide gas-card assistance to volunteer drivers.

Support volunteers who deliver meals using their own vehicles.

Keep nutritious meals reaching local seniors.

Maintain the personal connections that make Meals on Wheels so important.

Two Drawings. One Meaningful Cause.

🏆 WE ARE HONORED! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to announce that the Osceola Council on Aging Food Pantry has been recognized as the Charitable Partner of the Year through Experience Kissimmee’s Kissimmee Cares initiative!

This special recognition was announced today at the Experience Kissimmee Annual Meeting, and we couldn't be more grateful!

Every day, our Food Pantry works to fight food insecurity by providing nutritious food to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families in need throughout Osceola County.

This award is a reflection of the dedication of our amazing staff, volunteers, community partners, and supporters who help us make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Experience Kissimmee and Kissimmee Cares for this incredible honor and for their continued commitment to strengthening our community.

Together, we're doing more than providing food. We're providing hope, dignity, and a helping hand to our neighbors in need. ❤️

Keeping our minds active is just as important as keeping our bodies moving! 🧠❤️
Activities like crossword and word puzzles, dominoes, Rummikub, card games, and other group games can give older adults an enjoyable way to exercise memory, attention, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. Just as importantly, playing together creates opportunities for conversation, laughter, friendship, and social connection.
At the Osceola Council on Aging, we love seeing our seniors staying engaged, challenging themselves, and, judging by these tables, enjoying a little friendly competition along the way! 😊
A healthy day can include good nutrition, movement, meaningful connections, and a workout for the brain.

Our Meals on Wheels volunteers use their own vehicles to deliver nutritious meals, friendly visits, and an important connection to seniors throughout Osceola County. With rising fuel costs, we want to help keep these dedicated volunteers on the road.

Throughout October, we are asking the community to consider a suggested $20 donation to help provide gas-card assistance to our Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers.

And there is a little extra excitement this month: one lucky participant will win a 65-inch TV!

Every donation helps us support the volunteers who make Meals on Wheels possible. A small gift can help fuel a route, support a volunteer, and keep meals moving to local seniors who depend on us.
