Today PGA HOPE Jacksonville at Hidden Hills Golf Club started with 18 veterans - see the pics! PGA HOPE Orlando at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links started with 20 veterans! PGA HOPE Tampa the Ken Juhn Chapter at Rogers Parks Golf Course had 14 veterans this week!

Alan Miller is a Veteran who served as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War for nearly 10 years. He recently graduated from the 8-week PGA HOPE session in Citrus County. For Alan, the experience provided him with comradery and allowed him to expand and improve his golf skills. When asked to provide 3 words to describe his experience, this is what he said. Happy Veterans Day! The North Florida PGA would like to to thank all who have served and are currently serving in our military. We honor your bravery and courage & are grateful for your unending sacrifices.

For the entire month of November, we are raising money that will go directly to help veterans in our community, through our PGA HOPE golf programs. PGA HOPE is a completely free veterans program that works as physical therapy by learning golf from our trained PGA Professionals. 100% of the money raised goes directly into the program, and every dollar raised up to 5,000.00 will be matched by PGA REACH.

The North Florida Section has 5 active PGA HOPE programs in Jacksonville, Orlando, Citrus County, Tampa, and Sarasota. Florida has a large military population, active and retired, and is heavily golf-focused. We hope to grow our PGA HOPE programs by adding 3 more locations next year in; Melbourne, Minneola, and Sarasota.

The North Florida Section is so grateful to help and serve our local Military by offering them the PGA HOPE Program. We appreciate all our local Military does and "HOPE '' to give back to them as much as they have given to our country.

Yours and One Other is the charitable affiliate of the North Florida PGA. Through the framework of the greatest game ever played, we seek to fix challenges facing North Florida’s youth and veterans.

Our Vision:

Through awareness, fundraising, volunteerism and mentoring, the over 1,500 members of the North Florida PGA will be part of the solution in “fixing things” for youth and veterans in their local communities.
