💙 June is Men’s Mental Health Month 💙

Too often, men are told to "tough it out," "keep it together," or "handle it on their own." The truth is that seeking help is not a sign of weakness—it’s a sign of strength.

This month, we encourage the men in our community to prioritize their mental health, check in with themselves, and know that they do not have to face life's challenges alone.

"A strong man stands up for others. A stronger man stands up for himself."

Whether you're struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, or simply need someone to talk to, Park Place Behavioral Health Care is here to help.

🕯️🌈 Today, we pause to remember.

June 12, 2026 marks 10 years since the tragic events at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, where 49 beautiful lives were taken far too soon and countless others were forever changed.

Today, we honor the memories of those lost, stand with the survivors, families, friends, and the LGBTQ+ community, and reaffirm our commitment to compassion, inclusion, acceptance, and hope.

At Park Place Behavioral Health Care, we recognize that healing is a journey, and that mental health support, community connection, and love for one another are more important than ever.

As we reflect on this day, let us remember not only the tragedy, but also the resilience, strength, unity, and love that emerged in its wake.

💜 We remember the 49.
💜 We support the survivors.
💜 We stand against hate.
💜 We choose love.

"One community. One heart. Never forgotten."

Park Place Behavioral Health Care was proud to participate in AdventHealth's Passport to Wellness Employee Event, connecting with employees, sharing valuable mental health resources, and highlighting the services available to support overall wellness.

Events like these remind us that when organizations come together, we can make a greater impact on the health and well-being of our community.

Thank you to AdventHealth for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful event and for your commitment to promoting wellness and connection.

🧠 DID YOU KNOW? | The Park Place Story 💙💛

As we continue celebrating 50 years of service, here’s another chapter from our story…

🏡 In November 1976, our growing programs moved into 917 Emmett Street in Kissimmee—our first major centralized home.

This was a big moment for our organization because it brought services together in one location, making it easier for individuals and families in Osceola County to access the support they needed.

For many in our community, this became a place of hope, healing, and connection. 💙

The building may look different through the years, but the heart of our mission has remained the same:

❤️ Providing care close to home for the people we serve.

Do you remember Park Place on Emmett Street? Have a memory to share? We’d love to hear it in the comments! 👇

June is PTSD Awareness Month 💙

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can affect anyone who has experienced or witnessed a traumatic event. While PTSD is often associated with military service, it can also impact survivors of accidents, abuse, violence, natural disasters, loss, and other life-changing experiences.

Common signs may include:
• Flashbacks or intrusive memories
• Anxiety or feeling constantly on edge
• Difficulty sleeping
• Avoidance of certain places, people, or situations
• Changes in mood or concentration

The good news is that PTSD is treatable, and recovery is possible. Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

At Park Place Behavioral Health Care, we are here to provide compassionate care, support, and resources for individuals and families on their healing journey.

You do not have to face it alone.

🍩 Happy National Donut Day from Park Place Behavioral Health Care! 🍩

Today, we celebrated our amazing team with a sweet treat and a simple message:

"We donut know what we would do without you!"

Every day, our staff make a difference in the lives of those we serve through compassion, dedication, and a commitment to mental wellness. Whether providing support, encouragement, guidance, or care, their work helps strengthen individuals, families, and our entire community.

🌎💚 Happy World Environment Day! 💚🌎

Did you know that caring for the environment can also benefit your mental health?

Spending time in nature has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, increase focus, and promote a greater sense of calm and well-being. Whether it's taking a walk in the park, planting a garden, sitting under a tree, or simply enjoying fresh air, connecting with nature can be a powerful form of self-care.

Today is a great reminder that when we care for the world around us, we're also caring for ourselves.

🌱 Take a walk outside.
🌳 Visit a local park.
🌻 Plant something new.
☀️ Soak up some sunshine.
💙 Give your mind a chance to recharge.

At Park Place Behavioral Health Care, we encourage healthy habits that support both mental wellness and a stronger community. This World Environment Day, take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you and the positive impact it can have on your mental health.
