This Saturday, April 11th in Florida…the very first Polk County Blueberry Festival takes place in downtown Auburndale and is sure to be one of the Sunshine State’s best spring events! From 10 AM to 8 PM at 119 W Park St, this brand new festival celebrates one of Florida’s top crops with all things blueberry. You can start your day with a blueberry pancake breakfast, then spend hours trying blueberry treats, drinks, and fresh picks from local growers and vendors. Food trucks will be set up all day with plenty to choose from. Live music plays throughout the day on two stages, along with story time and a blueberry workshop. There’s plenty for families too, including a kids zone, local art, and fun contests like a blueberry toss, spoon relay, bingo, and a pie eating contest. It’s a full day of food, music, and small-town fun here in Florida!
