They’re selling their property on 192 because Osceola County prefers hazardous factories and toll roads over historical museums:
“I’ve reached out to every possible office and department seeking assistance, but unfortunately, no one has been willing to help. I wasn’t even allowed to place a simple sign on my own property announcing that a museum is coming — yet political campaign signs were permitted without issue.
The City Manager referred me to Visit Kissimmee, but they were unwilling to get involved until the museum is officially open. There’s been no reduction or consideration in fees to help get the museum started. At this point, I’m having to move forward entirely on my own, while the county continues to collect taxes and fees without acknowledging the cultural and educational value this museum will bring to the community.
It’s discouraging to see that economic development incentives and support are readily available for employers and commercial ventures, but not for cultural institutions that enrich the community and attract visitors in the long run.
All I’m asking for is fair support — the same enthusiasm and encouragement extended to other types of development.”
🌴 Exciting News! 🌴
We’re thrilled to share that today we officially settled on our new property in Cocoa Beach! 🏝️✨
Over the next six months, we’ll be hard at work making improvements to our new buildings as we prepare to transition from Cape Canaveral to our new Cocoa Beach home.
Attached is a panoramic view of all three buildings along with our plans for the upcoming improvements — we can’t wait to bring this vision to life and welcome everyone when we officially open our new location!
Stay tuned for updates as we transform this space into something truly special. 🚀💫
