Military life comes with unique challenges that can complicate relationships. That’s why M&FRC, in partnership with Air and Space Forces Aid Society (AFAS), is proud to offer Elevate – a skills-based program designed to help couples strengthen and sustain healthy relationships.

ELEVATE relationship enhancement workshop will be held Tuesdays from 1400 – 1600 on June 15, 17, 22, and 24 at the M&FRC! Couples who complete all 4 sessions and are active duty AFAS eligible can receive a $160 grant for attending. Flyer is attached for more information. Call the M&FRC at 505-846-0741 to register.

Air & Space Forces Aid Society (AFAS) is giving $150 to Airmen & Guardians E1-E6 for Gas!

Who Can Apply
Airmen & Guardians who meet the following criteria:
* Active Duty (Ranks E1-E6)
* Active Guard Reserve (AGR) - on 15+ day orders (Ranks E1-E6)
* Title 10/32 Guard/Reserve - on 15+ day orders (Ranks E1-E6)

Application Period
* Applications Open: May 11, 2026 (don’t apply before as it will not be accepted)
* Applications Close: May 15, 2026, or until funds are exhausted
Apply as soon as available because once the money is gone, it’s gone.

Program Details
* Type of Assistance: Grant (no repayment required)
* Amount: $150 (one-time)
* Use of Funds: Gas for your vehicle
* Payment Method: Direct deposit via Zelle or ACH

How to Apply
1. Visit afas.org and select "Request Assistance"
2. Log into the Application Portal (or create an account)
3. Click on ''Assistance” to begin your application
4. Select "Vehicle Expenses", then "POV Gas"
5. Complete the application and upload all required documents
