Octoraro Native Plant Nursery We are a wholesale container grower of mid-Atlantic and Northeast native trees and shrubs.

Octoraro Native Plant Nursery celebrates 25 years of business in 2015. We supply plants for environmental restoration and conservation projects. Our customers include contractors, government/agencies, non-profit organizations, golf courses, academic institutions and retailers with a focus on native plants. We are a distributor of Tubex tree shelters for seedling protection from deer and rodents. Plant availability, prices and on-line ordering can be found on our website at www.octoraro.com.

Look who came out to visit us on Earth Day... 🌎 👀 A mink!

Decades ago this part of the nursery was a corn field and over time we have restored this section of the Octoraro Creek with our trees and shrubs to the point where it can sustain diverse wildlife including our friend the mink.

Forget the classic "holding a giant bass" photo. Claire prefers to show off a different kind of monster catch! Just look at the absolute unit of a root system on this beauty.

We put everything into propagating robust native trees and shrubs, and pulling up a winner like this is definitely our catch of the day.
