What even is beef stroganoff, actually? 🧐 A classic Russian dish of sautéed beef in a tangy gravy made with sour cream and mustard. Though the meat is traditionally sliced, our budget-friendly recipe swaps high dollar protein for ground beef, adds mushrooms 🍄 and still delivers on that signature stroganoff tang. 😋

Brinner is a crowd favorite and we still aren't sure if it's in general or because of this casserole, but either way, it'll be on your plate tomorrow night! 🥚😍 Crisp, light cucumber salad is the perfect side, and we're counting down to 4:00 tomorrow. Come gather here - everyone has a seat. 💙

This week marks one year since our very first service meal - can you believe it?! 🥲 So much has changed since September 23, 2025. We've grown from serving six people once every 2-3 weeks to 120+ servings between service meals and to-go meals, and we haven't served an hour and a half late since our first meal. 🙈 That chicken just did not want to get up to temp.

This week we celebrate one year of service with the three C's - comfort food, community...and cupcakes, of course! 🎂 From 4:00-6:00 tomorrow, we celebrate those we serve, those who support, those who cheer from the sidelines, and everyone in between. (Just ignore anyone ugly-crying tears of gratitude in the kitchen, please.)

Thank you, Kirksville. We truly could not have asked for a better first year. 💙
