We want to share a heartfelt update with our community.

First, thank you. To every community partner, business, church, individual donor, and volunteer who helped make last Christmas such a beautiful success—we are truly grateful. Because of your generosity, local foster children and families were celebrated, encouraged, and reminded that their community cares.

Throughout the day, foster families shared how much they enjoyed the Gala, and many told us they were already looking forward to “next year.” Those words meant so much to us. The heart behind the day was simple: to help children and families feel seen, valued, celebrated, and loved.

Moving forward, Children’s Division has chosen to partner with another organization for their Christmas Angel Tags and Christmas Party. There will still be Angel Tree Tags to fill and a Christmas Party to plan, but those efforts will not be in collaboration with Compassion Share.

We wish Children’s Division and their new partner well as they continue serving children and families through those Christmas efforts.

Compassion Share is also moving forward with grateful hearts.

We are taking this season to revise and clarify our mission and vision so we can continue serving vulnerable and at-risk children in meaningful, practical, and compassionate ways. While our role with Children’s Division will look different, we remain open to receiving future requests for ways Compassion Share may be able to contribute to efforts that align with our mission and vision.

Thank you for believing in this work. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for giving with open hands and compassionate hearts.

More updates will be shared soon as Compassion Share steps into this next season of serving.

🍁 🦃 This Thanksgiving, Compassion Share Gives Thanks 🍁🦃

✨While many of us gather with family and friends around a meal and reflect on who and what we’re grateful for, I want to pause and give special thanks to the incredible community partners who are helping make the Compassion Share Christmas Gala truly memorable for the foster children and foster families of Missouri Circuit Court 2.

Our Gala is a closed event for foster children and their foster families—and this year, it looks like we have officially reached our planned capacity. ❤️✨

But you can still be part of the hope-filled moment!
