The SBA recently launched the Freedom 250 Patriot Pitch Competition, a nationwide initiative celebrating 250 years of American entrepreneurship. The competition features a $1 million total cash prize pool with zero equity required from the winners.

The application deadline is June 10, 2026, which is just two weeks away.

Who is Eligible?
To qualify, a business must meet the following criteria:
• Be an operational small business under SBA guidelines for at least 3 years.
• Have a gross annual revenue of at least $100,000.
• Crucial Requirement: Must have benefited from at least one qualifying SBA capital product. This includes 7(a) loans (including PPP), 504 loans, Microloans, SBIR/STTR funding, or SBIC. (Note: Standard COVID-19 EIDL or standalone disaster loans alone do not qualify on their own).
