đź’™A Little Kindness Can Make a BIG Differenceđź’™
Several weeks ago, the United Way of Northeast Missouri received a letter in the mail from 15-year-old Ayiana. Inside was a check for $120— money she had raised through a bake sale and decided to donate to help our community. 🥹 Ayiana has donated proceeds from her sales in each of the last 6 years to worthy causes!
Last night, at our annual Campaign Kickoff at the Kirksville Country Club, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ayiana so we could personally thank her for her incredible generosity. And she didn’t come empty-handed — she brought along two dozen freshly baked cookies!🍪
During a heated live auction, those cookies brought in an incredible $600! That means Ayiana’s generosity resulted in a total of $720 donated to the United Way of Northeast Missouri.💙
At just 15 years old, Ayiana is already showing us what it means to Live United— seeing a need, taking action, and finding a way to make a difference.
Thank you, Ayiana, for inspiring all of us and reminding us that one person really can make a difference in their community.đź‘Źđź’™
