Kirksville Community Christmas Dinner

Come join us for a GREAT evening of fun and a full Christmas Dinner. The dinner is intended for EVERYONE. Illinois.

Those that do have a family or those people who do not have a family, old and young, the rich and poor and for the entire surrounding communities. This event will be held as a Drive Thru event at the Kirksville Moose Lodge. A turkey and ham dinner with all the trimmings will be served. The generosity of citizens and merchants will make this event possible. Cash donations are used for the purchase

of food and supplies. We are a 501C3, our identification number is 26-4072186. This means that the merchants who have supported this cause will receive a tax advantage. The 9th Annual Community Christmas Dinner will be held December 12, 2021. Dinner will be served at 4 -6 pm or until all the food is served. Donations can be given to the committee listed below at any time or dropped off on December 12 after 1pm at the Kirksville Moose Lodge at 2405 E. Monetary donations can be left at Alliant Bank, American Trust Bank, Kirksville Moose Lodge, or through PayPal or Venmo on this page. We thank you for your support and wish you a Very Merry Christmas.

2024 Dinner is a wrap! THANK YOU to all that supported our free Community Christmas Meal. We served just under 600 meals this year.

Thank you to these awesome individuals that prepared and served the meals at lightening speed. We want to give a special thank you to Coltons Steakhouse, Tri-County Electric Foundation, CarMedic and Kirksville Moose Lodge for their continued support of the event.

Our Story

The dinner is intended for EVERYONE. Those that do have a family or those people who do not have a family, old and young, the rich and poor and for the entire surrounding communities. This event will be held at the Student Union Building on Franklin Street on Truman State University Campus in Kirksville Mo. In addition to a turkey and ham dinner with all the trimmings, prizes and gifts will be awarded throughout the evening. With the focus toward the children in attendance, Santa will make an appearance before heading back to the North Pole. The generosity of citizens and merchants will make this event possible. Cash donations are used for building expenses and for the purchase of food and prizes. We are a 501C3, our identification number is 26-4072186. This means that the merchants who have supported this cause will receive a tax advantage. All merchandise donations are given away at the dinner and food donations are used to prepare the dinner. The 6th Annual Community Christmas Dinner will be held December 16, 2018. Dinner will be served at 5 pm with festivities to begin at 6 pm. Volunteers are welcome to come help us set up, serve the meal, clear the tables and clean up after the festivities. We are in need of donations of food, desserts, and pies, white elephant gifts, and monetary funds are always welcome. Donations can be given to the committee listed below at any time or dropped off on December 16 after 1pm at the Student Union Building on Franklin Street.
